    Lake Living - Long Lake

    We’ve stayed here 2 previous visits and our entire extended family of 11 all love this location. The 5 kids all liked the ground floor accommodations as their own space with 5 beds, foosball and ping pong tables and a place to do their crafts. The screened in porch was a hit for the adults for coffee or cocktails without dealing with mosquitoes. The dock on the lake just steps away from the house was perfect for the kids swimming and diving and docking our 24’ pontoon boat. The fire pit was a hit for the samoas and relaxation with plenty of comfortable seating. We’ve been renting houses on Long lake for the past 25 years and we have now found our happy place. The best part of all was dealing with Shirley McIver as she could not have been more accommodating with all our questions, she was a pleasure deal with.     We have rented Moonrise for the past 4 summers. It has been wonderful working with Shirley. The house is perfect for our family. Family members that needed to work “from home” were able to to that and then still enjoy the lake and surrounding areas. Our grandkids loved the lake and the campfires .     What an amazing time our family of 9 had at Lake Living. Have rented many summer homes over the years and this was by far the best. Extremely neat and clean with a number of extra features. The setting was nice and quiet and we had daily visits from a family of loons. Looked forward to our nightly gathering by the spacious fire pit area. Our children enjoyed fishing off the deck and swimming in the clear water. Shirley couldn't have been more helpful. She was very responsive to my texts and phone calls.     Hidden Treasure- Moose Pond

    This cottage is exactly what I dreamt about and more. It brought me back to my youth when I would stay at my Aunts cottage. I’m so happy the owner kept it the same as it was originally . Of course update to the bathroom is great but the nostalgic feeling of the front porch with sliding windows and a couch and dining table to use for dinner while looking at the lake and Mountain View is breathtaking! The waterfront beach is very secluded and private. We used the outdoor fire pit every day and night enjoying the beautiful sunset. This cottage is the epitome of relaxation. Close to Bridgeton if you want to do some shopping.

    My family of 6 and our pup,have been vacationing at this property for the last 5 years. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views of Moose Pond and Pleasant Mountain are amazing! The cottage is set back so it’s quiet and private. We always have a wonderful time! The gradual sandy beach overlooking Moose Pond is our favorite spot and great for young kids. Everything you need is nearby. Around the corner is a business you can rent kayaks and paddle boards. Our kids are ages 9-15 and this is their favorite place to vacation! Heather null

    We have stayed here twice and plan to return this year. We love it here! The property is maintained beautifully and the house is immaculate! It fits our large family comfortably with room for everyone! The beds are comfortable & the kitchen has all you need to prepare meals & enjoy family time. Our kids love to jump right off their own private dock to swim, or they enjoy using the paddle boards and kayaks. They also love the ping pong table downstairs. Shirley has been so helpful in setting everything up each time we stay here. If there is ever an issue, she is right on top of it. She's the best! Also, Jerry Knapp at Gateway Marina in Harrison has always helped us out with our Pontoon Boat Rental for our stay! Can't wait for our next stay! Linda Bolduc

    Davis Landing - Long Lake

    Davis Landing is a gem!!! It’s what a Maine lake vacation spot should be. The kitchen is well equipped, and BBQing and eating on the deck is heavenly. This well located classic cottage has space and activities that met our three generation family needs, especially swimming off the dock. Shirley is easy to work with and is accommodating and responsive to renter needs Joan Hess

    At Waters Edge - Highland Lake

    The summer of 2024 was our first trip to the lake regions of Maine for our annual family vacation. Shirley provided great communication and was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. Our group of eight ranging in age from 3 to 67 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The layout was perfect with plenty of space for everyone. Also, something for everyone to do - great swimming, great fishing, shopping and restaurant trips to charming Bridgton, and day trips to Portland. Definitely one of our favorite vacation rentals and checked all of the boxes!

    This home is beyond beautiful! Plenty of amenities to feel right at home. We had a group of 6 staying and we all had plenty of space to spread out, but a nice common area to hang out in. It is close enough to the cute downtown to walk yet you are situated right on the lake’s edge with plenty of seclusion. By far one of the best experiences in renting a home and cannot recommend it enough!! Kristin Worthley
