There's a shallow sandy area for swimming, as well as swimming off the dock. The dock is also ideal for tying up your boat.     Long Lake Charm was a great choice for our family of nine.  The deck is huge and perfect for outdoor meals or sitting by the lake.  The kitchen is well stocked and has a huge table for indoor meals.  Beds were comfortable, washer and dryer were handy, and the teens enjoyed the nook upstairs for reading and games.  The lake is lovely, the water is clear, and there are lots of water toys available.  Renters should know that there are about 50 steps to get down to the lake but there is a railing to make it an easier climb.  Shirley was very easy to work with easy to communicate with.  Judy Schibanoff

    We have been coming to this gorgeous spot for many years. we love it's remoteness, the lake water is warm and chock full of fish and the dock is a perfect parking spot for our 14 foot aluminum flat bottom boat(just make sure you have a heavy duty vehicle to pull your boat up from the boat launch--its a little steep!) the house is comfy and the kitchen is well equipped--we have enjoyed many yummy dinners at the outside table or the inside dining room table. The deck is the best part of the whole property. Every night at sunset, we sit on the deck with our drinks of choice and marvel at the beauty of the Maine sunset. Maine sunsets rival any other sunset you will see anywhere. We love going into Bridgton for a little shopping at Remys or a lovely lunch at a local cafe. Mt Washington is a little less than two hours away and if the conditions are good, it's an experience of a lifetime to stand at the top. We love our vacation spot in Maine--if you love a good sunset, sitting by a splendid sparkling body of water, enjoying some remoteness while bald eagles fly overhead--this is your place.

    What an amazing time our family of 9 had at Lake Living. Have rented many summer homes over the years and this was by far the best. Extremely neat and clean with a number of extra features. The setting was nice and quiet and we had daily visits from a family of loons. Looked forward to our nightly gathering by the spacious fire pit area. Our children enjoyed fishing off the deck and swimming in the clear water. Shirley couldn't have been more helpful. She was very responsive to my texts and phone calls.
